Policy & Legislative Review Cell

About the Unit

The Policy & Legislative Review Cell examines statutory frameworks, parliamentary debates, and legislative developments relevant to blasphemy laws and their procedural implementation. The Cell analyses legal provisions, policy discussions, and regulatory developments affecting the application of these laws. The Desk does not seek to regulate or restrict journalistic expression. Rather, it provides fact-based responses and documentary clarifications where public reporting may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or unverified assertions.

Its work aims to provide structured analysis of legal frameworks rather than advocacy. By examining legislative material and parliamentary records, the Cell contributes to informed policy discussions grounded in documented legal sources.
